Currently the fourth place team in the Western Conference, the Clippers are now just four games ahead of the Grizzlies who are in fifth place. Ending the season strong is a must heading into the playoffs.

Los Angeles decided not to trade injured star Blake Griffin before the deadline this season even though he’s missed 35 games now due to an injured hand and quad. Chris Paul is still the leader of the team no matter what, putting up 19.9 points, 9.8 assists and 2.2 steals per contest. DeAndre Jordan is averaging 12.5 points and 14 rebounds per game.

If the season ended today, the Houston Rockets would be the No. 7 team in the Western Conference playoffs. However, there are still 15 games to play for Houston and with four wins in the past five games, the Rockets are trending in the right direction. No slip-ups from this point on for James Harden and Co. as they look to stay in the playoff hunt.

Speaking of James Harden, the young superstar is the team’s obvious scoring leader, putting up 28.6 points while averaging 7.1 assists and 6.3 boards per game as well. Dwight Howard isn’t quite the monster he used to be in the post and negative rumors still follow him everywhere he goes, but he’s still contributing 14.8 points and 12.1 rebounds per contest.
