Like it did on Monday, the NBA has a full nine-game slate tipping off tonight including a nice ESPN double-header. Some teams are chasing playoff spots, others are batting to get into the playoffs, and some teams are pretty much done for the season.  Wherever your team finds itself heading into the last few weeks of the season, you can get your DFS fantasy basketball team in contention for a title on any given night with the help of my FanDuel daily picks designed to highlight the best matchups of the day.

More from Fantasy Basketball

FanDuel rosters lock tonight at 7:00 PM ET when four games get underway including the Celtics hosting the Thunder in the first ESPN game of the evening.  The other 7:00 matchups are the Hornets hosting the Magic, the Mavs and Cavs meeting in Cleveland, and the Bulls in DC to face the Wizards. At 7:30 another Eastern Conference game tips off as the Hawks head to Detroit to face the Pistons.  The action shifts to the Western Conference as the night goes on starting with the 8:00 matchup between the banged-up Grizzlies and the T-Wolves.  At 9:30, the Clippers are in Houston to face the Rockets on the second night of their Texas two-step which is the second matchup featured on ESPN.  There are two games later than that, though, as the Kings host the Pelicans and the Knicks continue their West Coast trip by heading into Golden State to face the Warriors who are 60-6 on the season including 31-0 at home.

There are a lots of options as  you build your FanDuel team tonight, but there are a few key matchups to attack and to avoid at each position.  To see the players I think are ready to help you get a win tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
