Kristaps Porzingis is basically Stephen Curry, only taller

Look out, Stephen Curry. Kristaps Porzingis is coming.

For your pregame shooting routine.

Curry’s warmup shots from the tunnel have become the stuff of legend. Well, actually, they’re pretty routine at this point. But only for him. Other NBA players aren’t draining tunnel shots in volume these days.

Except Porzingis:

Need any further proof that Porzilla is going to drop 55 points against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night en route to leading the New York Knicks to a victory that jumpstarts an improbable playoff berth and eventual NBA Finals bid?

I sure hope not. Because there isn’t any.

No, in all seriousness, this doesn’t matter in the slightest. It’s a one-shot warmup. Hassan Whiteside himself would make it if given enough opportunities.

But it’s moments like this when you can really stop, appreciate Porzingis’ range and then properly go through the “Holy crap! He’s 7’3″! And he has from-the-tunnel-during-warmups-just-like-Steph-Curry range!” motions.
