NFL free agency: Donald Penn re-signs with Oakland Raiders
The Oakland Raiders strengthened their offensive line by re-signing tackle Donald Penn.
It’s been a while since the Oakland Raiders have had a great offensive line. Oakland has made that a priority this offseason, adding former Baltimore Ravens offensive lineman Kelechi Osemele to a huge contract. Now they have re-signed left tackle Donald Penn. Terms of the contract have yet to be released.
Getting Penn back is huge for the Raiders. It gives the Raiders some flexibility on their offensive line and potentially allows Osemele to stay at left guard where he is most dominant. Penn has been with the Raiders since they signed him in 2014. He has started in all 32 games that he has played for the Raiders and has only missed four starts in his entire career.

From ESPN.com:
"Penn, the durable blindside protector for Derek Carr, has been a constant since coming into the league with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Utah State in 2007. He has started 140 straight games, the third-longest active streak among offensive tackles in the NFL."
Donald Penn helps beef up a Raiders offensive line that could be the best one that they have had since they went to the Super Bowl in 2002.
