With some First Round March Madness action happening, how many of the ESPN brackets are still perfect?
Thursday was one of the greatest days of the year for a sports fan, as March Madness is upon us. The First Round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament began, and once again, there were some shockers.
To start things off, one team that everyone had their eyes on was the Yale Bulldogs. They were coming into the day as a No. 12 seed and they were faced with the task of taking on the No. 5 seed Baylor Bears. Now while everyone was intrigued by this team that hasn’t been in this position in over 50 years, they weren’t given much of a chance. Well, that was proven to be a bad move for some people, as they came away with the 79-75 win.
Then, there was a little more craziness when there was another 12-5 upset, as Arkansas-Little Rock took down Purdue in double overtime in one of the best games that we had seen all day.
So you can imagine that a lot of brackets have been busted, and there are a lot of angry people out there. Of course, a lot of those people have brackets with ESPN as part of their Tournament Challenge. With that said, how many of the ESPN brackets are still perfect? Well, not a whole lot.
We’re not even through the first day. At this rate, everyone’s hopes will be crushed by Friday evening.
