Tom Brady let his personal bias show like most fans as he picked his alma mater, Michigan, to win the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
The productivity level across the United States will go down starting Thursday afternoon as the 2016 NCAA Tournament officially gets underway with 16 first rounds games (sorry, First Four…you don’t count in the eyes of most people). Going along with watching the games is the traditional filling out of your predictions on an official bracket (followed weeks later by the subsequent throwing off the bracket in the trash when your picks are all eliminated).
For those who have a team in the race (an alma mater of school you normally root for), it’s customary to fill out multiple brackets that include one showing your personal loyalty. It’s not just the average fan who does that…it’s also a Super Bowl winning quarterback.
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who at one point was a signal caller for the Michigan Wolverines, is happy to see his alma mater in the dance and has no problem picking them to not just win a game or two in the tournament…but the whole thing:

As an 11th seed in this year’s tournament, Michigan has quite the road to get anywhere close to making Tom Brady look like a bracket genius. The Wolverines did start on the right note by getting a five-point win over Tulsa in their First Four game Wednesday against Tulsa. Now, they head to Brooklyn for a first round matchup against Notre Dame.
If everything goes chalk in the East Region, Michigan would have to beat Notre Dame, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Xavier and North Carolina to make it to the Final Four in Houston. We’re not saying Tom Brady is going to be burning his bracket with the rest of us…but he better get the lighter ready.
