Former Michigan State star Draymond Green, now a member of the NBA’s Golden State Warriors, is not handling his alma mater’s NCAA Tournament loss all that well.
Ladies and gentlemen, the March Madness has officially hit another gear. After seven of the lower-ranked teams won games during Thursday’s opening day of first round games, we officially have our upset of the tournament (so far) as the 15th seeded Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders led the entire game to upset the second seeded Michigan State Spartans.
It was a shocking loss not just because MTSU becomes just the eighth team seeded at 15th to win a first round game, but because over 60 percent of people filling out brackets on ESPN.com had Michigan State in the Final Four (with another 22 percent winning the whole thing).
Fans and alumni are trying to come to terms with what took place in a St. Louis, Missouri arena Friday. One of those is Draymond Green, who helped lead Michigan State to the national title game during his freshman season at the school. Now a member of the defending NBA champion Golden State Warriors, Green may be one of the most vocal supporters of Sparty there is…and he needs a hug after Friday’s upset loss:
Well there goes my bracket... Well more importantly my sanity.... Ahhhhhhhh somebody wake me up from this nightmare I'm living Right now!!

It’s going to be okay, Draymond, maybe Michigan will lose in their first round game against Notre Dame Friday night and you won’t have to hear a lot of smack talk. Friday was the earliest exit for Michigan State in the NCAA Tournament since getting bounced in the first round back in 2011.
