Tonight’s schedule in the NBA is almost identical to the set up we had yesterday with eight games on tap for this evening with most of them starting early.  The matchups are different, obviously, but the 16 teams taking the floor tonight once again give us a solid pool of players to pick from for DFS fantasy basketball.  If you are looking for a good place to start, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides for the players I think can carry your team to victory.

More from Detroit Pistons

Rosters will lock on FanDuel tonight at their typical 7:00 PM ET. Two games tip right at 7:00 as the 76ers host the Thunder and the Magic welcome in LeBron and the Cavs.  At 7:30, the Raptors and Celtics get in Boston in a matchups of the current two and four seeds in the Eastern Conference. At the same time there’s a battle of the big men set up in Detroit where Boogie and the Kings face Drummond and the Pistons. Two more games get underway at 8:00 with the Blazers finishing their back-to-back in New Orleans and the Rockets hosting the Timberwolves in a defense-optional, high-scoring game in Houston.  At 8:30, the Warriors head to Dallas where they picked up one of their few losses this season, and in the final game of the night, the Lakers host the Suns at 10:30 in LA.

With those 16 teams taking the floor, there are a lot of good options to consider.  To see the players I think are ready to help you get a win tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
