The Yale Bulldogs pulled off a big upset in the first round of this year’s NCAA Tournament and here are the reasons they can do it again in the second round against Duke.

March Madness lived up to its name during the first day of the 2016 NCAA Tournament, as seven of the 16 first round games played on Thursday were won by the lower-seeded team. There may have been no more shocking result than when the 12th seeded Yale Bulldogs, a team who hadn’t been to the Tournament since 1962, won their first game in the Big Dance all time with a 79-75 victory over the 5th seeded Baylor Bears.

Now, the Bulldogs look to double down on their tournament luck when they take on their foe in the second round, the five-time national champion Duke Blue Devils. Even with their shocking upset win on Thursday, Yale is going to be the clear underdog going into Saturday’s game in Providence, Rhode Island. However, when you look at the stats and all the intangibles, you shouldn’t just overlook the Bulldogs and automatically advance the Blue Devils to the Sweet 16.

Here are the top five reasons why Yale can pull off another upset and advance to the Sweet 16 next week.
