NCAA Tournament 2016: Temple vs Iowa live scoring tracker

Live scoring updates for Temple Owls vs Iowa Hawkeyes in the 2016 NCAA Tournament

The second crop of First Round games in the 2016 NCAA Tournament will get underway on Friday after March Madness made its presence known throughout the first 16 games. One of the most intriguing matchups on Friday that will get started in the afternoon at Barclays Center will be between the Temple Owls and the Iowa Hawkeyes in the South Region.

Iowa finished the regular season sitting in third in the Big Ten, but the way they finished the year was less than inspiring as they suffered some debilitating and disappointing losses. However, they have a great deal of talent highlighted by the duo of Jarrod Uthoff and Peter Jok. If the Hawkeyes can find their rhythm, they’ll be a force in the NCAA Tournament.

As for Temple, they finished the regular season atop the AAC, but were bounced in the conference tournament to receive an at-large bid. However, the Owls have a ton of talent in the likes of Quenton DeCosey, Obi Enechionyia, and Jaylen Bond that could seriously make some noise if they can find a groove for the NCAA Tournament.

Both Iowa and Temple have been struggling in a real way as of late. Subsequently, this matchup should come down to whichever team can regroup and get closest to reaching their potential on Friday.
