Ravens cornerback Tray Walker passes away after motorcycle accident

Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker has tragically passed away after a motorcycle accident on Thursday.

On Thursday night, it was announced that Baltimore Ravens cornerback Tray Walker was involved in a serious motorcycle accident down in Florida, that had left him in critical condition. The news of the situation had caught everyone off guard and immediately, an outpouring of prayers and support from players, coaches and fans around the league began coming in for the young fourth-round pick, whom the Ravens had high expectations for.

Friday, the worst that was feared became reality, as Walker was tragically pronounced dead, according to his agent, after Walker had been fighting for his life.

It’s one of the saddest stories in quite some time and to see a young man full of so much potential pass away is a reminder of just how valuable life really is.

Walker was loved by everyone in the Ravens locker room and on Friday, head coach John Harbaugh penned a heartfelt letter to his entire team about the situation, in what has become a difficult time for the organization.

In 2014, Walker’s dad had passed away and Walker decided to dedicate his season to him. Another good one is gone too soon and on this day, everyone’s thoughts are with Walker’s family, friends and the Ravens.
