Temple Owls vs. Iowa Hawkeyes
There was a point in the regular season when it seemed as if the Iowa Hawkeyes might be a contender to win it all. Now at the start of March Madness, that’s far from the case as Iowa is trying to recapture that form. They’ll have to do it quickly, though, as they have a tough First Round matchup on Friday in March Madness against the Temple Owls at Barclays Center.

Jarrod Uthoff is the guy to watch for Iowa as the forward has been their leader all season and needs to continue that trend now that March Madness is here. However, the catalyst for the Hawkeyes may well be guard Peter Jok and what he’s capable of doing out of the backcourt. As for the Owls, they’re going to go as far in March Madness as Quenton DeCosey can take them. However, they might be able to go a bit further if guys like Obi Enechionyia and Jaylen Bond can step up.
