March Madness 2016, Connecticut vs Kansas: Live stream, start time, TV info and more

No. 9 Connecticut Huskies vs No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks

Kevin Ollie won the nation title just two years ago and the Connecticut head coach has had a tough time keeping the Huskies relevant ever since. Connecticut was just 23-10 heading into the NCAA Tournament and barely made it in just one year after losing in the first round of the NIT. Can the Huskies pull a rabbit out of the hat once again?

The Huskies are led by a balanced attack across their starting lineup. In fact, four players for the Huskies average at least 12 points per game. Rodney Purvis leads the way with 12.7 points per game while Shonn Miller and Daniel Hamilton are both putting up 12.6 points per contest. Could this steady attack take down the Jayhawks.

Kansas has been the top team in the country for the better part of a few weeks and the Jayhawks earned the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament. Bill Self has put together yet another title contender and the Jayhawks are looking to avoid yet another early-round upset. Kansas is the team to beat right now.

Perry Ellis has been the senior leader for the Jayhawks, leading them in scoring and rebounding with 16.8 points and 5.8 boards per game, respectively. Don’t sleep on Wayne Selden, either. The star junior will be a force to be reckoned with in this year’s tournament and he’s putting up 13.3 points while shooting over 40 percent from deep.
