Updated 2016 NCAA Tournament bracket after Indiana advances to Sweet 16

Indiana is heading off to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament and here’s a look at the bracket.

The Indiana Hoosiers are the team that persevered through it all on Saturday. After suffering critical injuries to key players on the day, including forward Juwan Morgan, the Hoosiers managed to hold on and defeat the Kentucky Wildcats to advance to the Sweet 16.

The NCAA Tournament is all about how teams face the adversity that they are dealt with and winning teams like Indina tend to rise to the occasion. How they will fare going forward remains to be seen, but the Hoosiers were more than impressive in a huge win against the Wildcats.

The good news is that they’re now in the Sweet 16 and that is an accomplishment in itself. With the Hoosiers moving on in the East Region, they now have set themselves up a date with the winner of the game between No. 1 North Carolina and No. 9 Providence.
