A look at the highlights from the March Madness game between Duke and Yale on Saturday
On Saturday the second Round of 32 game that was brought to us from the West Region and it was one of the more anticipated match ups of the tournament thus far as the No. 4 seed Duke Blue Devils took on the No. 12 seed Yale Bulldogs.
The first half of this one had everyone convinced that Duke was not only going to come away with the win, but embarrass Yale in the process. Grayson Allen, Brandon Ingram and the Blue Devils went into the locker room with a 48-25 lead and it appeared that Yale was helpless the rest of the way, especially not being able to stop Allen who had 22 points at the break.
They were not, however, as in the second half they were able to make a run, which included a 15-0 stretch. Just like that, the comfortable 27-point lead for Duke was gone and we had ourselves a game that just a short time before no one would have believed was possible.
While Yale fought valiantly right to the end, the Blue Devils were able to hold them off for the win, 71-64, moving them into the Sweet 16 once again.
Three Stars
Grayson Allen, G, Duke: 29 points
