With the change in seasons comes a tradition that’s been going on for more than two decades, which is Rita’s locations giving out free Italian ice to anyone who stops by.
According to the Rita’s website, the company has been giving out free Italian ice on the first day of spring for 24 consecutive years. Taking advantage of the offer couldn’t be easier, as all you have to do is show up. Each person gets one free small ice, no purchase necessary. You’ll also probably have to wait a bit, as Rita’s tends to have long lines when it’s giving away freebies.
