March Madness 2016, Hawaii vs Maryland: Live stream, start time, TV info and more

No. 13 Hawaii Rainbow Warriors vs No. 5 Maryland Terrapins

Pulling off one of the biggest upsets of the NCAA Tournament’s first round this season, the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors look like a Cinderella that could punch its ticket to the Sweet 16. Taking down the young, talented California Golden Bears, Hawaii could use some more of that magic against a tough Maryland squad.

Quincy Smith led the Rainbow Warriors in the first round game with 19 points, but on the year, he’s averaging just eight per game. Roderick Bobbit was also a force against the Golden Bears, putting up 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists. He averages 13.4 points on the season. When this team gets hot, it’s very hard to stop.

Maryland began the season as the No. 3 team in the country in the AP poll, but the Terrapins never really lived up to the hype. It was almost expected that Maryland would plow through the Big Ten and win the regular season title, but the talented group of Terrapins just couldn’t put everything together.

The Terrapins were able to hold off South Dakota State in round one, though. If there’s one team in the South Region that could surprise some people and pull off an upset of Kansas, it has to be Maryland — if it can get to the Sweet 16. Melo Trimble, Rasheed Sulaimon, Diamond Stone, Robert Carter and Jake Layman make up a scary starting lineup.
