Jalen Ramsey will certainly go in the Top-10 of the 2016 NFL Draft, but here are five reasons that the Florida State cornerback should go No. 1 overall.

Every NFL Draft is different. Some have several franchise quarterbacks available in the first round. Some have players built to thrive in the trenches for the next decade in the NFL. Others lack high-end caliber players and pro prospects bound to bust at the professional level.

What may end up separating the 2016 NFL Draft from many in recent history is that there seems to be more blue chip prospects available in the top 10 than in years past. Potentially picks one through 10 could end up having a Pro Bowl level player just on talent alone.

One player that seems to have started to separate himself from the pack is Florida State Seminoles cornerback Jalen Ramsey. Ramsey anchor a dominant Florida State secondary the last three years, winning a National Championship as a freshman in 2013 over Auburn, played in the first annual College Football Playoff in 2014 as a sophomore, and made it to another New Year’s Six Bowl as a true junior.

Ramsey was also a collegiate track star and seems to have an incredibly high ceiling in the NFL. While it is rare to see a cornerback go No. 1 overall, there is a chance that Ramsey could buck the trend in the 2016 NFL Draft. Here are five reasons that the Tennessee Titans should take Ramsey No. 1 overall in the 2016 NFL Draft.
