After Notre Dame’s win, guard Matt Farrell creepily stared at Allie LaForce during an interview
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish are going to the Sweet 16 in 2016 March Madness, but not without a little bit of drama as they needed a tip-in with just over a second left on the clock to get past the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks. It was another crazy moment in an already crazy tournament. However, Notre Dame guard Matt Farrell may have taken the craziness a bit too far as things got awkward really quickly with CBS reported Allie LaForce.
After the big win for the Irish, LaForce was interviewing Notre Dame star Zach Auguste on the court and Auguste was flanked by a host of his teammates—Farrell included. As LaForce talked to his teammate, though, he thought it would be a good idea to creepily stare at LaForce and just make the moment uncomfortable for everyone:
I have absolutely no idea what Farrell thought putting that look on his face and staring at another human being—male or female, famous or not—was going to accomplish, but it feels pretty safe to say that this was a bad decision. Now he just looks silly on national TV and will more than likely be made into a meme before this is all said and done.
