Even with Stephen F. Austin losing, the Internet came through with the Stone Cold memes

The Stephen F. Austin put up one hell of a fight against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Second Round of March Madness. Not only did the No. 14 seed go back-and-forth with the No. 6 seed right from the start, but the Lumberjacks had the lead with just 10 seconds left on the clock. Of course, that’s when Stone Cold Stephen F. Austin suffered heartbreak.

Notre Dame took the lead by one with just over a second remaining on the clock, much to the chagrin of the Lumberjacks as it came on a crazy tip-in from Rex Pflueger. Getting ousted out of March Madness isn’t easy ever, but having it happen in such heartbreaking fashion has to sting a little worse.

As we all know by now, the success and Cinderella run of Stephen F. Austin has brought more than its fair share of Stone Cold Steve Austin memes to the table. However, even after they lost to Notre Dame on Sunday, the Internet still pulled through and came in strong with a new batch of memes regarding Stone Cold Stephen F. Austin:
