Tim Howard announces Colorado Rapids move in claymation (Video)

Tim Howard announced his move to the MLS and the Colorado Rapids in the most American way possible.
It was widely speculated throughout the offseason that Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard would move to the Colorado Rapids. Once they traded Clint Irwin to Toronto FC, they were only delaying the inevitable. But Howard himself has just made it official, and he did it in the most creative, and most American, way possible:
"BREAKING NEWS: @TimHowardGK announces on UNINTERRUPTED he is headed home to America to join the MLS.https://t.co/BQvggePk0H— UNINTERRUPTED (@uninterrupted) March 20, 2016"
Through the Uninterrupted platform, Tim Howard used claymation to announce that he will be moving to Colorado at the end of the Premier League season. All while he stops oncoming balls with “Born in the USA” blaring in the background. Despite spending over a decade in the Premier League, he’s clearly fond of his roots. US Soccer fans will remember his heroic 15 save performance against Belgium in the World Cup in a losing effort. He is by far one of the best, most accomplished, American soccer players of all-time.
His move to Colorado marks the first time he’s playing in America since the New York Red Bulls were called the MetroStars back in 2003. There’s no question the Rapids could use him. They finished last in the league last year, and while not much was expected of them this year, they are coming off a win against one of the best teams in the LA Galaxy. With Tim Howard’s arrival, expectations will no doubt be raised now.
