A huge weekend saw a lot of movement at the top of the EPL table.

Another week of Barclays Premier League action is in the books, and it was a huge weekend for Manchester United and Southampton.

Liverpool took a tumble after losing to Southampton, who had to come back to win the match. It was good news for Southampton fans, who watched their club move up to seventh in the table and now sit just one win behind West Ham and Manchester United. Furthermore, Southampton moved within four-points of Manchester City, who did themselves no favors whatsoever by losing the Manchester Derby on Sunday 1-0.

That loss moved Man United within serious striking distance of not only Man City but also Arsenal. All Manchester United needs to do is finish in the Top-4 to earn a berth in the Champions League next year, and that looks more than possible after their big win on Sunday against their rivals.

Here’s a look at the updated EPL table after Week 31 action has wrapped up:

There is still a lot that can happen at the top of the table before the season ends. Tottenham can still catch Leicester City but it appears as though this is simply their year and they will win the league.

But the fight for the Top-4 in the table is as wide open as it’s ever been and there is still plenty of time for clubs like West Ham, Man United and even outliers like Liverpool and Stoke City to make a run for a Champions League slot.
