No. 10 VCU Rams vs. No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners
After three days of action from the beginning of the NCAA Tournament First Round, March Madness has delivered incredible unpredictability leading into the final day of the NCAA Tournament Second Round. Whether it’s the small schools dethroning the big schools or the greatest superstars of college basketball showing off, March Madness 2016 has had something for everyone thus far.
On Sunday, a mid-major program that can hang with the top schools will take on a major program, when the VCU Rams face off against the Oklahoma Sooners. The Sooners are looking to make this their year behind the magic of Buddy Hield, but they will have quite the test against VCU, who has had no problem creating big upsets before in the tournament.
What is at stake is a chance for one of these teams to advance to the Sweet 16 and a chance to compete for something even far greater. If history is any indication, the meeting between the two programs should be a colossal one in Oklahoma City.
