Here are five more reasons why Ben Simmons shouldn’t be the top pick in this June’s NBA Draft.

In a move that was the least shocking thing in the world of college basketball, LSU Tigers freshman sensation Ben Simmons is going to be turning pro, announcing to ESPN that he will hire an agent and declare for June’s NBA Draft after just one season in Baton Rouge.

It’s a move that has been in the works ever since the Australian native headed to the states for prep school basketball before announcing (in a surprise to many) that he would play for the SEC program while waiting for the time he could head to the pros.

Since stepping foot on a college campus, it has almost been a no-brainer that Simmons would be the first name called in the 2016 NBA Draft, held this June in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. However, the 2015-16 college basketball season had many experts beginning to take a step back and analyze if Simmons is indeed the player who should be taken first overall.

With over two months to go, we give you five more reasons why whoever has the top pick should look somewhere else and not select Simmons first overall.
