According to a report, the NBA will officially Tuesday, that the Staples Center will host the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.
The NBA All-Star Game is about more than just the game and the weekend of events. It’s become a chance for the league and the players to continue to grow their brands on a global platform. The league has brought the game to some major global markets over the last two years in New York City and Toronto.
In 2018, the NBA All-Star Game will be coming to another major global market, which means it will be another great opportunity for growth and expanding a message locally along internationally. According to Mike Bresnahan, the NBA will announce that the 2018 NBA All-Star Game will be coming to the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Staples Center is home to both the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers, but neither team will be the official host of the event, which is the way that it was in 2004 and 2011. Regardless, by coming to the Los Angeles market, it’s another great choice by the NBA, as the market will always turn out for the NBA and the All-Star Weekend has continued to evolve each year.
Just like in 2011 and 2004, neither the Lakers nor Clippers will be the official "host" when 2018 NBA All-Star game is at Staples Center.
