Even with only 4 games in the NBA, tonight’s DFS fantasy basketball offers a star-studded slate, so check out my DraftKings daily picks.

While the NBA doesn’t have nearly as many games tonight as they did last night or as they have on tap for tomorrow, it should still be a great night of DFS fantasy basketball.  There are some big stars in action in the early TNT game as the Rockets visit the Thunder, and there are some nice sleepers from the other games to stock us with good “stars and sleepers” options for tonight. The first game of the night actually gets a head start an the marquee matchup at 8:00, as the Nets and Hornets tip off at 7:30 PM ET when the contests get underway tonight. At 8:00, the TNT double-header starts with the Rockets at the Thunder in what could be a first-round playoff matchup depending on how the seeding shakes out.  Also at 8:00, the Pelicans host the Heat in a matchup virtually overflowing with fantasy bargains since New Orleans has been devastated by injury.  The night wraps up with another game stocked with value as the the Grizzlies scotch-tape lineup takes on the Lakers as they finish their back-to-back.

My goal each morning is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
