Kemba Walker has always had a flair for the dramatic. Back during his days at UConn he ratcheted his game up a notch whenever he and the Huskies would find themselves playing at Madison Square Garden during the Big East tournament. This makes sense, considering Kemba is a New York native and all.

It’s not quite MSG, but Walker and the Hornets are facing off with the Nets tonight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Kemba endured a rough first half in this game, but made up for it right at the buzzer with this captivating one-man fastbreak (via @BleacherReport):

Everything about this play is amazing. The crossover, splitting the double-team from Donald Sloan and Thaddeus Young, and, most impressively of all, the up-and-under layup right through Wayne Ellington to cap it off. Most Improved Player, anyone?
