Kemba Walker makes epic buzzer beater layup (Video)
Kemba Walker made an epic buzzer beating layup against the Brooklyn Nets.
The Charlotte Hornets have had a successful season so far this season with a 40-30 record entering their matchup on Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets. A huge reason for that has been the impressive play of guard Kemba Walker who leads the team with 21.7 points per game entering Tuesday.
Walker showed the magic that he’s been performing all season long on Tuesday by pulling off an impressive buzzer beating layup.
Walker does a great job maintaining control throughout that drive to the basket. He drove to the basket strong and caught the Nets, who were clearly expecting a three point shot, off guard. Walker even has some contact made near the basket in the air and it didn’t matter because he adjusted his layup perfectly.
On top of his team leading and career high 21.7 points per game, Kemba Walker is averaging 5.2 assists per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, and 1.62 steals per game. The guard from the University of Connecticut has averaged 17.2 points per game, 1.4 steals per game, 5.4 assists per game, 3.8 rebounds per game, and a career high 43.1 field goal percentage while playing 36.1 minutes per game (also a career high for Walker).
