Texas A&M – Danuel House

The Texas A&M Aggies, though it may seem a bit unfair to say, are lucky just to be in the Sweet 16. They had to overcome a double-digit deficit with under a minute to play against the Northern Iowa Panthers in the Second Round and then needed two overtimes to finally push through to this round. However, a big reason as to why they were able to make that push was the play of their senior guard in Danuel House.

In the purest sense, House is an absolute gunner that can go hot or cold at any moment. Him getting hot right at the very end of regulation and going into overtime to the tune of scoring all 22 of his points over that stretch speaks volumes about what the guard is capable of when he gets rolling. If A&M is going to stay alive against a team like Oklahoma, House is going to have to be on for 40 minutes in the Sweet 16.

Though A&M has a ton of talent, their offense is certainly a bit sporadic, largely in the mold of how House is as an individual performer. If they are going to hang with a team like Oklahoma, House showing some kind of consistency as he leads the way for the Aggies is going to be vital.
