Former Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch hasn’t sent in his retirement papers yet because he’s been busy ‘riding camels.’

With minutes running down on the clock in Super Bowl 50, Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch stole a portion of the show in a game that he and his team weren’t playing in, when he sent out a cryptic tweet that announced his retirement.

While Lynch’s message was letting everyone know that he is hanging it up and his teammates came out to thank him, he hasn’t officially sent in his paperwork yet. While that might get some Seahawks fans’ hopes up, the truth of the matter is that Lynch has just been way too busy to send in his paperwork yet.

According to ESPN’s Sheil Kapadia, Seahawks general manager John Schneider said Lynch hasn’t sent in his papers yet because Lynch has been out “riding camels” and has been busy.

"“Not really. We just haven’t received his papers yet. He’s been out of the country riding camels and stuff.”“Not really. We just haven’t received his papers yet. He’s been out of the country riding camels and stuff.”"

Lynch posted one of the most memorable photos of the off-season to date, when he along with fellow players were in Egypt visiting the pyramids and riding camels. Lynch is clearly out enjoying his retirement and hasn’t had the time yet to send in his papers.

It might raise some suspicions, but he’s a guy that’s always done it his way and he’s got camel riding and plenty of other adventures to get out of the way before officially retiring.
