It’s been a pretty depressing season for the Brooklyn Nets, and it got quite a bit more depressing back in December when rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson fractured his ankle. The first-round pick out of Arizona had been one of Brooklyn’s few bright spots early in the season, but the injury wound up costing him 50 games.

He made his return to the court tonight against the Hornets, though, and wasted little time before reminding everyone why the Nets have such high hopes for him. Watch as he takes the nice bounce pass from Brook Lopez and crams one right over the top of Frank Kaminsky (via @BrooklynNets):

Vicious.
