Rondae Hollis-Jefferson throws down jam on Hornets (Video)
Brooklyn Nets rookie Rondae Hollis-Jefferson threw down a vicious left-handed slam down on the Charlotte Hornets.
While the Brooklyn Nets haven’t had a lot to look forward to this season and don’t have much to look forward to in the feature because of the lack of assets that they have, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has been a bright spot when he’s healthy and on the floor this season.
On Tuesday night, Hollis-Jefferson, who is more known for his defense and not his offense, showed off some explosive ability against the Charlotte Hornets. As Hollis-Jefferson drove the lane, he got some major air and he threw down a huge slam right over the Hornets.
Even more impressively, he was able to switch hands and he put it down with his left.
He dunked so hard that he had to catch himself on the way down from the sheer force of his dunk. The best part of this dunk is the mental battle that Hornets rookie Frank Kaminsky has with himself defensively. He looks like he’s going to try to challenge Hollis-Jefferson, but then he clearly thinks better of it and gets out of the way.
When a man is rolling through with that much power and gets that much air, it’s better to let him do his thing and not end up on a poster.
