Russell Westbrook takes it to the rim and throws it down hard in the fourth quarter.
There’s no doubt Russell Westbrook is one of the most athletic players in the league. Every time down the floor he can run by the fastest defender and dunk over the tallest one.
Westbrook’s dunks, though, are not elegant. They never have some cool move, windmills are not his style, he’s not trying to get to the dunk contest. Russell Westbrook literally wants to break the rim every time he slams it home. I really believe that’s his goal, to bust the rim and shatter the backboard. One day he’ll do it, too, because he throws it down with authority.

Westbrook has become one of the best point guards in the league, behind Steph Curry. He holds the league lead for the most triple doubles this season and has learned how to play with Kevin Durant. He has made this Thunder team one that can go deep in the playoffs.
They matchup quite well with the Warriors, solely because of their athletic ability and the way they can score the ball. But the playoffs are still a little bit a way and are unsure, what is sure, though, is that Westbrook can slam it down hard.
