Paul Pogba expresses intentions to stay with Juventus
23-year old Paul Pogba told the team’s director Guiseppe Marotta that he has intentions to stay at Juventus for at least one more season.
Paul Pogba is one of the most coveted midfielders in the world. Manchester City, Barcelona, and Paris-Saint Germain have all shown interest in the young attacking midfielder. However, he told his team director that he intends to stay with Old Glory for at least one more season.
Pogba’s contract currently has him at Juventus until 2019, but that doesn’t stop the biggest clubs in the world from keeping tabs on him. At the moment, though, all transfer talks of him leaving over the summer have abruptly ended.
The attacking midfielder has helped Juventus in their success recently in the Serie A and Coppa Italia. He has scored eight goals in all competitions this season and nine assists. His athletic ability, his technical ability and his knack for the spectacular make him one of the best young players in the world.
His play is similar to that of Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure. He is a strong player and, when needed, can create goals out of nothing. But for now, he will likely not be moving anywhere this summer. Although there is still a slight chance he could sign somewhere else, for now he has told Marotta he is staying.
