17. Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Bucccaneers

So far, so good in Winston’s much-anticipated NFL career. While it always takes more than one season to be proven as a franchise quarterback, the Buccaneers look to be in good shape at quarterback for years to come under Winston.

Tampa Bay selected Winston first overall in the 2015 draft and immediately made him the starter. Winston threw for over 4,000 yards and 22 touchdowns as a rookie, and could soon be one of the top quarterbacks in the NFL if he improves his decision-making. Although the Winston to Mike Evans connection helped those numbers, the 2013 Heisman winner will also get better as the Buccaneers get more talent around him.

Those numbers helped Winston win the Offensive Rookie of the Year award over some big-name players like Amari Cooper and Todd Gurley. There’s more room to grow, but Tampa Bay should be thrilled that Winston is nearly a top-half quarterback after just one season.

Again, decision-making was seen as the weakest part of Winston’s game coming out of Florida State, and a 22:15 TD:INT ratio needs to be improved. If Winston can be better in that area in 2016, he will quickly find himself among the game’s elite young quarterbacks. Winston’s development should be very exciting to watch in 2016.
