Jose Calderon and Derrick Williams connect on full-court alley-oop (Video)

New York Knicks point guard Jose Calderon and forward Derrick Williams connected on a full-court alley-oop.

For two nights in a row, the New York Knicks have dealt the Chicago Bulls a very serious blow to their playoff chances by beating them two nights in a row. While it’s been a season of struggles for the Knicks, they showed how competitive they can be by knocking off a playoff-caliber team on two straight nights.

To cap off their second win in as many nights against the Bulls, Jose Calderon brought the crowd at Madison Square Garden to their feet, as he and Derrick Williams connected on what is probably the best alley-oop of the season. As Calderon corralled a rebound, he noticed Derrick Williams at the other end of the court by the hoop.

Rather than bringing the ball up the court, he decided to just throw a full-court alley-oop attempt to Williams, who slammed home the miraculous lob to the excitement of the announcers and everyone watching, except maybe the Bulls.

Trying to go full court with an alley-oop is awfully risky play to attempt, but Calderon is known for his passing and he took full advantage of his opportunity to cap off two great nights for the Knicks.
