No. 11 Gonzaga vs No. 10 Syracuse
Every year in the NCAA Tournament, at least one double-digit seed advances to the Sweet 16. Sometimes, they even go on to the Elite Eight with the chance of going to the Final Four. It creates March Madness and tournament excitement that fans tune in to see. This is the case with No. 11 Gonzaga and No. 10 Syracuse, who will face off on Friday night for a chance at the Elite Eight.

These two teams aren’t strangers to advancing far in the tournament. Coaches Mark Few of Gonzaga and Jim Boeheim of Syracuse have plenty of experience and it shouldn’t be surprising to see them lead their respective teams this far.
Things may not have shaped up this way if it wasn’t for Michigan State going down, though. The No. 2 Spartans were shockingly upset by the No. 15 seed Middle Tennessee State. Many predicted them to come out of the Midwest Region and even win the National Championship. With them losing, the gate is opened for the Bulldogs or Orange to get to the Elite Eight and maybe get their moment in March Madness.
This contest should be a fun one featuring players like Domantas Sabonis, Kyle Wiltjer, and Michael Gbinje all in action.
