The No. 1 Oregon Ducks defeated the No. 4 Duke Blue Devils and advanced to the Elite Eight.

The Pac-12 Conference has been the subject of criticism in the NCAA Tournament, as six of their seven teams were dispatched before the Sweet 16 even began. The one team remaining, the No. 1 Oregon Ducks, had plenty of questions surrounding them as they struggled to get past Saint Joseph’s in the second round of the tournament.

Against the Duke Blue Devils on Thursday night, the Oregon Ducks put to rest any worries that people might have about how long they’ll last in the tournament, when they knocked off the defending champion Duke Blue Devils in a game that never really felt that close.

Once again, Oregon proved that the strength of their roster is the tremendous depth that they have. With Oregon’s win, they will now have their biggest test yet if they want to get to the Final Four, when they face the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners with a chance to cut down the nets.

Here is an updated look at the NCAA Tournament bracket after Oregon’s win.

The Ducks now have the chance of a lifetime when they face the Sooners. The Sooners flexed their muscles and looked very good against the Texas A&M Aggies.
