The whole Notre Dame basketball team decided to video bomb head coach Mike Brey’s post-game interview.
On Friday night, No. 7 Wisconsin faced No. 6 Notre Dame for the right to advance to the Elite Eight. The game was a low scoring one in the first half but things picked up later on, especially toward the end of the game.
In the waning seconds, the Irish would take the lead after forcing a steal and scoring a layup. This put Notre Dame up 57-56 and finished out the game with four more points to win 61-56. They will advance to the Elite Eight to play either the North Carolina Tar Heels or Indiana Hoosiers on Sunday night.
After the game, the Irish were ecstatic and so was head coach Mike Brey. They are moving on to their second consecutive Elite Eight, so the excitement is there obviously.
Well, the team was so pumped up that during Brey’s interview with CBS sideline reporter Dana Jacobsen, they barged in and video bombed it.

Notre Dame will now be waiting to see who their opponent will be on Sunday. They’ll need to keep this energy and late-game heroics up if they want to take down North Carolina or Indiana for a chance to move onto the Final Four next weekend.
