No. 7 Wisconsin Badgers vs No. 6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Early in the season, it looked like Wisconsin would be missing out on the NCAA Tournament just one year after making it to the national title and losing to Duke. The Badgers were 9-9 and head coach Bo Ryan had just retired, giving way to Greg Gard and he turned the team around and they finished 20-12 before the tourney, earning a seven-seed.

The Badgers moved on thanks to Bronson Koenig’s 3-pointer at the buzzer to beat second-seeded Xavier. Koenig is second on the team with 13.3 points while Nigel Hayes leads the way, averaging 15.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Watch out for Ethan Happ as well, the reigning Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
Notre Dame didn’t have the strongest finish to the 2015-16 season, but the Fighting Irish still managed to earn a No. 6 after a rigorous ACC season. The Fighting Irish are one of those sneaky teams that could easily make a Final Four run under the radar and surprise some people. Don’t lose focus of this team.
Demetrius Jackson is one of the top point guards in the nation, but he rarely gets enough respect. The junior guard is averaging 15.5 points and 4.7 assists per game, both tops on the team. Zach Auguste has been a monster in the post, averaging 14.3 points and 10.9 rebounds per game to go along with 1.1 blocks.
