The knee injury that Luke Harper suffered could be keeping him out longer than originally feared
This past Monday night after WWE RAW went off the air, we started to see the reports making the rounds that Wyatt Family member Luke Harper suffered what was believed to be a serious knee injury in the dark match. Up until this point, not much is known about the extent of the injury and WWE hasn’t even acknowledged it.
Now we’re learning some more about the prognosis for the versatile big man, and as has been the case with a lot of these WWE injuries over the past year, it’s not positive at all.
According to PW Insider, the word going around on Friday at the Madison Square Garden house show is that the knee injury is worse than originally feared, leading Harper to be out for a maximum of six months as he recovers.
There’s no official word yet on what Harper and the Wyatt Family are doing at WrestleMania, but whatever it is we pretty much know now that Harper won’t be involved. And like a few of his co-workers, he’ll be the latest roster member that will be missing out on that annual ‘Mania check, which makes you really feel bad for the guy.
Hopefully, though, Harper could get the rehab process going soon and everything goes well in terms of his recovery. He’s one of the more talented big men that the company has seen in quite some time, and he’ll be sorely missed in the ring.
And really — this WWE injury bug needs to just stop already!
