After Syracuse pulled off another stunning tournament win, Carmelo Anthony lost his mind
Whether anyone in the country likes it or not (and there are a lot out there that don’t), the Syracuse Orange are one win away from the Final Four. Yes, the team that was getting ridiculed after they were let in on Selection Sunday could very well be on their way to Houston to play for it all.
Now for as many people as there are that are livid at this turn of events, there are still Syracuse supporters out there happy about it all. There are also a lot of former Syracuse players out there that are quite pleased, and one of them is definitely Carmelo Anthony, who helped lead Syracuse to their last national title in the spring of 2003.
Right after Syracuse came all the way back on Gonzaga on Friday night and claimed the 63-60 win, the New York Knicks star echoed the sentiments of a lot of people at the time who are proud of what the Orange have accomplished.
