No. 6 DePaul vs. No. 2 Oregon State
As the Women’s NCAA Tournament rolls on, the contenders have separated themselves from the pretenders and that’s left some really good basketball teams playing in the Sweet 16 competing for a chance to move onto the Elite Eight. On Saturday, two of the more talented teams in the nation will face off in Dallas, when the No. 6 DePaul Blue Demons face the No. 2 Oregon State Beavers.
The Oregon State Beavers had a fantastic season inside a Pac-12 Conference that was loaded with talented teams. Like many teams out of the Pac-12, the Beavers are still standing and will look to continue to put the Pac-12 on the map on Saturday, when they have a chance to move onto the Elite Eight.
For the Pac-12 co-champions, this is their first trip to the Sweet 16 in 33 years and they’re going to want to make the best of their trip. However, a fierce DePaul team stands in front of them and it should be a competitive game.
