For the second night in a row the NBA has nine games on the schedule giving plenty of options for DFS Fantasy basketball players. There are actually ten games on the schedule but the “main” competition doesn’t include the 6:00 tip between the Pacers and Nets.  The other 18 teams in action still give us plenty of good plays though, so check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides to see who I think should be in your lineup.

More from Boston Celtics

Whoever is in your lineup at 7:00 PM ET when the games start is who you’ll have for the whole night since FanDuel still doesn’t support late-swapping. There are a pair of games that are scheduled for 7:00 as the Pelicans host the Raptors and the Bulls travel to Orlando to face the Magic.  At 7:30, the Pistons host the Hawks while the Knicks take on the Cavs. In the NBATV game of the night, the Thunder host the Spurs who will again be resting starters. At 8:30, the Bucks take on the Hornets on the second game of both teams back-to-backs.  In the last game of the night, the Blazers take on the 76ers in the only West Coast game of the day.

At this point in the season, there are plenty of value plays to consider as teams take a look at younger talent while also dealing with injuries and rest for their more established starters.  Getting the right blend of stars and sleepers can sometimes be challenging, but to see the options that I think can deliver for you tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
