High Value PF

Jerami Grant-Philadelphia 76ers (5,100): Grant only managed a disappointing 17.1 fantasy points in Denver on Wednesday in what should have been a great matchup for him.  He did produce over 22 fantasy points in each of his first four games back after suffering a scary collision with teammate Robert Covington sidelined him for a couple of games.  He is a risky play tonight, but he’s in a favorable matchup against the Blazers iffy interior defense and is getting plenty of minutes for the Sixers who may or may not have Nerlens Noel tonight in addition to all their other injury concerns.

Jon Leuer-Phoenix Suns (4,600): Jon Leuer crashed back to earth after back-to-back double-doubles including his best game of the season on Wednesday finishing with 22 points and 14 boards while he started in place of Tyson Chandler.  Chandler was out again last night, but Leuer only played 16 minutes totaling 10.8 fantasy points on seven points and four rebounds.  Even after that disappointment though, he’s still an option I like tonight against Boston if he draws another start.  Boston has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points in the NBA to opposing PF, so he should be able to bounce back if Chandler’s balky back opens the door for another Leuer start. If starting-∗ Not starting-

Amir Johnson-Boston Celtics (4,500): Another cheap PF play who has been tearing it up recently has been Boston’s Amir Johnson who is finally over the plantar fasciitis that he battled for much of the season.  Johnson has posted four games with at least 30 fantasy points in his last five including his most recent game when he dropped 39.3 fantasy points on his former teammates from Toronto. In that outing, he played 34 minutes and had 11 points, 14 boards, and five assists.  He should be able to find success again tonight against Phoenix as long as the game is relatively close for most of the way.

Ed Davis-Portland Trail Blazers (4,400): Davis has been getting solid minutes lately, and he has produced whenever given the opportunity this season.  He has a least 22 fantasy points in five straight games and has over 29 fantasy points in each of his last two. Davis is still coming off the bench, but in a matchup against the 76ers I think he’s set up for more success tonight as the Blazers are back home for the late game.

David West-San Antonio Spurs (3,500): West is a great ultra-cheap flier tonight as the Spurs take on the Thunder since San Antonio will be resting so many starters. West will likely start and play all the minutes he can handle.  In his limited role, the veteran has been productive with at least 14 fantasy points in six of his last nine games, but I would expect more production with more playing time tonight.
