No. 5 Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. No. 1 UConn Huskies

The UConn Huskies’ women’s basketball team is one of the most dominant teams in the history of athletics. Together, the senior trio of Breanna Stewart, Morgan Tuck and Moriah Jefferson have won 147 games and will look to make it 148 wins on Saturday, when they take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the Sweet 16.

While the Bulldogs are coming off a huge win over Michigan State, they’re going to have the fight of their life against the Huskies on Saturday. Not only are the Huskies one of the most legendary college teams ever, but they also are playing the game in Bridgeport, Connecticut, where the Huskies are going to have a massive home crowd advantage and will be able to feed off their energy.

The winner of Saturday’s action will advance to the Elite Eight and will take on the winner of the UCLA Bruins and Texas Longhorns.
