Fans on Twitter went off about the ending to the Kansas vs Villanova game.

On Saturday night, the No. 1 Kansas Jayhawks faced No. 2 Villanova Wildcats in the Elite Eight. The winner would receive a spot in the Final Four to play the Buddy Hield led Oklahoma Sooners.

The game was chaotic, often going back and forth in lead changes. Villanova was up by a few possessions towards the end of the game, but guard Frank Mason III hit a huge three-point shot to bring the score to 58-57 with 25.5 seconds left.

Unfortunately for Kansas, they wouldn’t be able to take the lead on Villanova. The Wildcats increased their lead off free throws and even had a wild deflection go their way. They would win 64-59 and defeat the No. 1 overall team in the tournament. They will now move on to the Elite Eight to face Oklahoma next weekend.

As always, the Twitter reaction was wild for this crazy ending to an NCAA Tournament game. Here is what fans had to say in regard to the ending.

This was a great game and the one next weekend vs the Sooners should be a lot of fun. A spot in the National Championship game will be on the line with everyone watching.
