March Madness 2016: Where is the Final Four?

Where will March Madness shift to for the Final Four matches of the 2016 NCAA Tournament?

The 2016 NCAA Tournament has been filled with a lot of great games. March Madness causes fans to become extremely emotional as they follow the action from the round of 64 all the way to the final game. This year’s Final Four will take place in Houston, Texas this year as the thrilling and emotional matches continue to unfold.

This is the third time that the city of Houston will host the Final Four and the championship game. Houston previously hosted the last four teams in the NCAA Tournament in 2011 and 1971. The latter hosting rights came during UCLA’s dynasty under the leadership of John Wooden.

None of the teams from the 2011 Final Four will reach this year’s edition, while Villanova is the lone team to make both the 1971 and 2016 Final Four rounds. The Wildcats have gained some serious momentum in this year’s tournament as they shocked Kansas in the Elite Eight to be one of the last four teams still playing college basketball. They reached the 1971 National Championship game at Houston, so the history is in their favor despite the same venue not there now.

No matter who is playing in the Final Four and the title game, the action hosted by Houston will have fans on the edge of their seat in anticipation. At this point anybody could come away as the champions as this tournament has produced some of the best upsets and shocks of all time.
