What is the 2016 NBA Playoffs theme song?
A look at what song you’ll be hearing all spring long as the theme song for the 2016 NBA Playoffs
One of the cult-favorite traditions on the Internet and social media during the NBA Playoffs is to relentlessly celebrate the theme song for the playoffs. Whether it’s just repetition of the catchphrase or making memes out of the video package, it’s something that happens every year it seems. Even if it’s secondary to the basketball being played, it’s a fun tradition to watch or be involved in.
Given the fact that the Golden State Warriors have all but run away with things in the NBA since the first month of the season, the home stretch is a bit lackluster in comparison to other years. Subsequently, some fans may be ready to get the theme song for the 2016 NBA Playoffs pumping and get the jokes and memes locked and loaded for when the playoffs get underway.
Before that can happen, though, we have to figure out what song is going to be the theme for the 2016 NBA Playoffs. Luckily, the NBA on TNT let us know at the end of March that it’ll be Pitbull returning to do the theme song for the 2016 NBA Playoffs as he’s accompanied by Robin Thicke on a song seemingly entitled “Bad Man:”
"Takes a “bad man” to win in the #NBAPlayoffs. #BadManTNThttps://t.co/EQTbt1JTUE— NBA on TNT (@NBAonTNT) March 26, 2016"
Love him or hate him, it’s hard to deny that Pitbull sure can make a catchy song, which is probably why the NBA keeps coming back to him. And if you don’t like him, you should brace yourself before April 16, 2016 when the 2016 NBA Playoffs officially get underway. You’re going to be hearing a lot more of him for two months after that.
