Willie Cauley-Stein hits fadeaway over Dirk Nowitzki, DeMarcus Cousins loses his mind (Video)

Kings rookie big man Willie Cauley-Stein hit a fadeaway jumper over Dirk Nowitzki and DeMarcus Cousins lost his mind.

Sacramento Kings rookie center Willie Cauley-Stein has really been taking off as of late and it has everyone in Sacramento excited about the prospects of having him and DeMarcus Cousins going forward, despite the fact the team is struggling massively.

Against the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday, Cauley-Stein hit Dirk Nowitzki with his own signature shot. As he backed down Nowitzki, Cauley-Stein dropped a fadeaway jumper right in his face, much like Nowitzki has done to everyone else in his career.

As the shot dropped, DeMarcus Cousins, who was on the bench, lost his mind and hopped to his feet and began yelling, screaming and doing a variety of movements that couldn’t be explained.

It’s safe to say that Cousins enjoyed seeing the shot from his teammate and it’s great to see everyone getting excited over what the Kings hope is one of their big pieces of the future. That fadeaway jumper is a shot that takes time to perfect and to see the rookie do it against the guy that perfected it for big men is something else.

It sure made Cousins lose his mind.
